Day 1: Discovery of Foum Zguid and Night at “La Petite Maison du Lac Iriki”
Depart from Foum Zguid after lunch for a unique adventure to our exclusive guesthouse, “La Petite Maison du Lac Iriki,” located approximately 60 km away. Traverse breathtaking desert landscapes in a 4×4 vehicle, making stops to explore a fascinating site of prehistoric fossils. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome with traditional tea while admiring a spectacular sunset. The evening continues with a friendly dinner around the campfire, where you can exchange stories about the lives of desert nomads.
Day 2: Cultural Immersion in Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi and Adventure at Erg Chegaga
Start your day with an outdoor breakfast before setting out on foot to explore the oasis of Zaouiat Sidi Abdenabi. Discover the daily life of nomads, their agriculture, and the captivating history of the village. After a delicious lunch at the guesthouse, prepare for a 4×4 expedition to the majestic dunes of Erg Chegaga. Along the way, make a stop at the nomad school for enriching interaction with desert children. At Erg Chegaga, experience an unforgettable moment with a camel ride at sunset, followed by a memorable dinner under the stars, accompanied by local music.
Day 3: Return to Foum Zguid via the Dry Lake Iriki
The last day begins with watching the sunrise from the dunes, offering breathtaking views. After some relaxation and a stroll, resume the 4×4 journey back to Foum Zguid. The journey includes crossing the diverse landscapes of the dry Lake Iriki, with photo stops to capture these spectacular panoramas. This day concludes your adventure with unforgettable memories of landscapes and encounters.
